Sexuality

What is sexuality?  How does it differ from sex?  Why are they so important to us?  These are questions that are easy to answer and yet difficult to fully grasp.  Sex is a basic function of human life and on this primitive level exists only to propagate the species.  As I am sure you know there is a lot more to it and I would like to remind you of the true purpose of sex and how sexuality relates to all this. 

Sex as I refer to it here is the physical act of intimacy which can lead to propagation and/or it can lead to a connection with God/Universal Consciousness/Divine Goddess/Great Spirit. 

Sexuality is Sexual energy and Spiritual essence and can be thought of as the creative force of energy or God force, the essence of who you are.  It is related to personality but is really more.  It is expressed in conjunction with your personality at all times. 

Sex is a function that brings people together, creates community, and allows each person to be individuals in a group.  The drive for sexual satisfaction can be overwhelming at times, but this is only one aspect of sex and humanity is getting to a point in evolution as a species that they can move beyond this urge.  Not lose the urge all together but control it by bringing it up at will in the appropriate situations. 

Passion is the emotion that fuels your sexual drive coupled with hormones and physical vitality.  It can be pure physical pleasure, and it can be a sacred event!  Physical pleasure can be experienced with the simple use of your hand or in a multitude of other methods.  If you are still young then I suggest proceeding with caution. 

As an adult, I encourage you to explore all wonderful methods of achieving sexual gratification, while remembering to feel the Spiritual Connection.  It is the actual connection to God/Universal Consciousness/Divine Goddess/Great Spirit that is the true purpose of sex.  The sensation of orgasm is letting you know the connection has been made.  When your partner orgasms in unison with you the connection you share is about as good as it gets here on earth!  It is not unusual at all to feel a connection to the entire Universe in a moment like this, because quite literally you are! 

I like to visualize bodies as bundles of light, auras intertwining, constantly sharing energies, getting closer and closer, the energies merging – becoming ONE.   At the time of unified orgasm there is only one being expressing the Divine!  One incredible beacon of Light! 

Afterwards you lay there in bliss and slowly your energies separate and differentiate back to your physical form, but not without a memory of what it is to truly be one with God/Universal Consciousness/Divine Goddess/Great Spirit!

This union is a gift for you to share, and many feel it should only be shared between those who are married, however I do not share that belief.  Remember that all limitations are self imposed.  We are each adult individuals and who you share your gift(s) with are up to you. 

When the conditions are right a new life can be manifested during this union, but only if both parties deeply desire to create life.  God does not make mistakes or have accidents!  On some level a child is desired or there will be no fertilization.  The conditions would be an egg and sperm combining in a fashion that produces a fertile egg, and a uterine space for the baby to grow.  Not getting pregnant is a matter of being pure in your desires to simply experience each other.  No fear can be present or this will attract what is feared.  You are in control of your life and while many have relinquished this power to others, when knowledgeable of the way energies work, you simply choose your desire in advance.  Perspective is a tool of the mind that can be used to create just about anything.  “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change” (Wayne Dyer). 

In summary sexuality is a lot more than physical sex which is a gift for you to share with anyone you choose.  The choosing must be mutual and consenting.  The sexual union with God/Universal Consciousness/Divine Goddess/Great Spirit can be experienced with a partner (either same or opposite sex), multiple partners (any combination) or without a partner (using tools/toys or none).  This union can even be experienced without any help at all, at any time, and in any place.  Hold your desires close to your heart while expressing your sexuality for it is the core of your being, you are Spirit!  Feel the JOY ;-)
